Alexander Joseph "Lex" Luthor -  Child of Lillian and Lionel Luthor, Lex had flaming red hair until the Smallville meteor shower robbed him of it in October 1989 and left him with an increased ability to heal.  He attended Excelsior Prep boarding school from Grades 5-12, sharing a room with Bruce Wayne.

Physical description:  6 feet tall, blue-grey eyes, bald, scar on his upper lip (based on Michael Rosenbaum's Lex Luthor)

Bruce Wayne - Child of Thomas and Martha Wayne, Bruce was orphaned the rainy April night when his parents were murdered in front of him.  Leaving a showing of "The Mark of Zorro," Bruce watched in horror as a random, never-identified assailant stabbed his parents to death (in a huge departure from comic canon), stabbing the 8 year old Bruce as well.  The young boy clung to life in the alley, listening to the sounds of bats nesting in the walls of the theatre.  He still bears the knife scar on his side.

Physical description:  6' 4'', dark brown eyes, almost black hair, square-jaw (Christian Bale's a reasonably good choice for this, although Kevin Conroy is always Batman's voice for me.)

Clark Jerome Kent - Child of Jonathan and Martha Kent, Clark's character follows the Smallville timeline up until the Season 2 episode "Heat".

Richard John "Dick" Grayson -  Child of the Fabulous Flying Graysons aerial act, a fifteen-year-old Dick watches his parents fall to their deaths while performing at the Gotham City Circus.  Bruce Wayne and Lex Luthor are there to witness the event.

Tobias "Toby" McClaren, M.D. -  The school doctor at Excelsior Prep and still a friend to Lex, Toby is tempermental, a sometimes-reformed alcoholic, and has always liked Lex better than Bruce (or at least that's what he says.)  He's a good doctor, makes secret housecalls, and always knows when to keep his mouth shut.
